Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client, based on thorough evaluations of their mental health needs.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, using evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, including referring clients to additional services as needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards in practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and remaining abreast of mental health research and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from diverse backgrounds, facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients from various demographics and backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and general technology related to telehealth practices.
