Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to tailor therapeutic strategies that address their unique needs and challenges.

• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain compliant and accurate clinical records in accordance with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and trust in the therapeutic relationship.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, incorporating insights from other healthcare professionals.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and workshops to stay current with emerging trends and research in mental health treatment.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base that may include individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
