Work Environment\n

This role allows for remote work, offering flexibility in managing your professional responsibilities while ensuring a healthy work-life balance. Our outpatient office serves as a supportive hub, where collaboration with a multidisciplinary team occurs virtually. The operational schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, ensuring consistency and predictable hours for both therapists and clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are tailored to meet their specific needs.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR, to clients to promote relaxation, stress reduction, and emotional well-being.
\n
• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation techniques, and breathing exercises to enhance self-awareness and emotional balance.
\n
• Organize and facilitate group workshops and classes designed to introduce clients to mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building activities.

• Incorporate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health issues while fostering clients' overall growth and resilience.

• Document client progress, therapeutic interventions, and treatment outcomes accurately to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and regular personal mindfulness practices to stay current with MBSR techniques and improve therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal Mental Health Therapist will work with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong academic foundation and clinical training relevant to mental health therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the creation of a supportive therapeutic environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and/or certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or related mindfulness practices are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
