Key Responsibilities Provide mental health counseling to patients through telehealth appointments, focusing on individual therapy and group sessions as necessary. Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and circumstances of each client. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring a responsive approach to therapy that prioritizes client well-being. Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care delivery. Engage in single-session therapy and brief, solution-focused therapy models to effectively address client concerns. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will encompass treating a diverse adult clientele who may be experiencing mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, or co-occurring disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and communities, providing an opportunity to apply culturally competent practices in a supportive environment. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required. A valid state license to practice independently, such as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD, is necessary. At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating appropriate clinical competencies. Experience using telehealth platforms to conduct virtual sessions effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and communicate with diverse clients in a compassionate manner. Strong ethical principles and adherence to all legal and regulatory guidelines governing mental health practices. Preferred Experience Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and clinical record-keeping. A solid understanding of current trends and evidence-based practices in mental health therapy. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
