This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while serving clients in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews with clients to determine their mental health status and create tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive therapy approaches to address various mental health disorders.

• Provide ongoing support and resources to clients, enabling them to confront and manage challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic and comprehensive care.

• Utilize strong crisis intervention skills to navigate emergencies and ensure client safety.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and more. Our clients come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in providing culturally competent care. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each client is essential in fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New York.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Proficiency in delivering individual and group therapy.

• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with a diverse range of clients.

• Strong skills in crisis management, ethical practice, and professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a telehealth setting is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
