Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work seamlessly from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients in a supportive and structured outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to gather relevant client histories and formulate appropriate diagnoses.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their specific needs and goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain meticulous and timely records of client progress and clinical documentation in accordance with California state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in weekly case consultations with peer professionals to enhance skills and receive feedback about client management strategies.

• Participate in clinical supervision sessions to discuss cases and ensure ongoing professional development.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic groups or workshops as needed to support client engagement and provide additional resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from varied backgrounds, bringing unique emotional, relational, and cultural challenges. As an LMFT at Lightbox, you will work with clients across different life stages, including children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing diverse issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and transitions. Your understanding of how socioeconomic factors and cultural diversity influence mental health will be crucial in delivering effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Active LMFT license in California, holding good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Solid foundation in systems theory, relational dynamics, and trauma-informed care approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside strong organizational capabilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy, particularly in community mental health settings or with high-acuity clients.

• Experience in school-based services or working with diverse populations is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Lightbox offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, with a flexible fee-for-service model depending on individual roles.
