Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and evaluate the severity of mood disorders, ensuring that each client's unique circumstances are understood and respected.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific challenges.

• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.

• Provide educational resources and emotional support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and effective self-care strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.

• Engage in professional development through training and case consultations, ensuring the highest standards of care and staying informed about the latest research and best practices in the field.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on assisting individuals struggling with various mood disorders. Clients may range from adolescents experiencing anxiety and depression to adults facing complex emotional challenges. Your role will entail empathizing with their struggles and providing insightful guidance, while also tailoring your approach to fit the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clientele.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active professional license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A solid understanding of California laws and professional ethics relevant to mental health practice.

• Ability to pass a background check through the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• Current tuberculosis test completed within the last six months.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• At least three years of professional experience in mental health counseling, specifically relating to mood disorders.

• Experience in treating clients with learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social/emotional disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive and falls between USD 115,000 and USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
