Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored therapy plans that align with each individual's goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, to support clients in navigating their challenges.

• Facilitate group, couple, and family therapy sessions to encourage open communication and strengthen relational dynamics.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, including referrals to additional services as needed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while adhering to ethical and legal standards, ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC in this role will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing mental health care. Clients may present a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. A focus on serving underserved populations ensures that counselors can make a meaningful impact in their clients' lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
