Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma histories, enabling you to identify and tailor appropriate treatment approaches.

• Crafting and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that each plan is reflective of the patient’s unique needs.
\n
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to process their trauma, develop vital coping strategies, and promote healing.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide integrated care and support for our patients.
\n
• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, responding promptly to situations that require immediate attention.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and the resources available to support their recovery process.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed care.
\n
• Staying informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, ensuring that our services remain cutting-edge and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will involve providing compassionate care tailored to the unique experiences of each patient, helping them rebuild their resilience and improve their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role.
\n
• A deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
