This full-time role can be performed remotely, focusing on delivering high-quality outpatient mental health services to a diverse client base. Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role offers flexibility while contributing to the goals of our outpatient office. You will primarily work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Given the nature of mental health care, some flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet the needs of our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs, histories, and health backgrounds of each patient.

• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual’s cultural and personal circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental health resilience and addressing emotional and psychological concerns.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated care and support for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and access to community resources pertinent to their care.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical regulations regarding patient privacy and care.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to stay updated on current best practices in mental health therapy.

• Stay current with research and emerging trends in mental health to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly those relevant to diverse populations.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy with culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, complemented by the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and common computer applications relevant to telehealth.

• A commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical standards, and confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with additional training or certification in culturally responsive therapy modalities, crisis management, or specific mental health disorders may find their application particularly competitive. Experience working with LGBTQ+ clients or immigrant populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
