Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Coordinate and document transitions for hospital and inpatient services, ensuring smooth program transfers, and collaborating with healthcare staff to facilitate discharges.

• Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques effectively while providing milieu support as the Clinician of the Day, advocating for the safety and well-being of individuals in crisis.
\n
• Complete thorough risk assessments and safety planning for patients, ensuring documentation is finalized on the same day for those identified at heightened risk of crisis services.
\n
• Prepare critical incident reports promptly within 24 hours of occurrence when needed.
\n
• Participate in after-hours care coordination support on an alternating schedule to maintain continuity of care.
\n
• Engage proactively with participants to minimize reliance on crisis services, working collaboratively to develop strategies that foster resilience and stability.
\n
• Maintain crisis alerts for effective coordination with county crisis services for ongoing patient needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
