Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from your preferred location while maintaining the integrity of our therapeutic services. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to meet the needs of your patients. You will be part of a collaborative team of professionals in a remote setting but have consistent access to virtual meetings, training, and team-building events.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain comprehensive insights into patients' unique backgrounds, experiences, and needs. Develop tailored treatment plans that align with these insights.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized to individuals' cultural contexts, employing a variety of therapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions addressing various mental health challenges while fostering an environment of trust and respect.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate patient care effectively and holistically.

• Provide crisis intervention, offering immediate support and coping strategies to individuals in distress or facing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and other ethical standards, ensuring all documentation reflects best practices in mental health care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions focused on cultural competency, best practices, and emerging research in mental health treatments.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee is required.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, effective treatment modalities, and a strong foundation in cultural competence within therapeutic environments.

• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive and person-centered approaches.

• Proficient in crisis intervention techniques, demonstrating the ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
