Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and emotional needs, utilizing various assessment tools and techniques.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based practices consistent with the latest mental health research.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions including individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on evidence-based practices.

• Continuously monitor and document each client's progress in therapy, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during sessions and develop safety plans for clients in crisis.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions in accordance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate a coherent and holistic treatment approach.

• Stay informed on emerging trends in mental health practices and actively participate in ongoing education and supervision sessions.

• Uphold the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by licensing bodies throughout your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus at Golden Dove is to support adolescents and young adults who are experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By offering virtual group therapy alongside individual sessions, we create a community atmosphere that promotes healing and shared experiences among clients with similar backgrounds and issues.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
\n
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities to balance multiple cases.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions on your license.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a mental health or counseling setting.

• Knowledge of telehealth practices and experience utilizing virtual platforms for client engagement.
\n
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Golden Dove offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, new therapists may be eligible for a sign-on bonus as an incentive to join our growing team.
