Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments through initial consultations and ongoing sessions to establish a clear understanding of clients' mental health statuses.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate a personalized treatment plan, employing evidence-based practices aimed at addressing their unique challenges.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, using techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other applicable therapeutic interventions.

• Monitor client progress, provide ongoing support, and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Facilitate referrals to other health professionals, including psychiatrists or medical providers, as needed for multi-faceted care.

• Document all client interactions and treatment strategies in compliance with state regulations using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in professional development and stay current with trends in mental health practices to enhance therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients, including but not limited to adolescents and adults experiencing mental health issues, trauma, co-occurring disorders, and life transitions. Given the complexity of mental health challenges faced by our clientele, cultural competence and sensitivity will be crucial in tailoring care to fit each individual’s background and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A minimum of four years of experience providing mental health counseling, demonstrating your ability to effectively support patients through their therapeutic journeys.

• A working knowledge of various mental health disorders and a suite of evidence-based treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
