Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through virtual platforms to identify unique patient needs and formulate detailed, individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions via telecommunication, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques tailored to clients both individually and in family settings.

• Lead psychoeducational groups online to foster community understanding of prevalent mental health challenges, reinforcing a supportive network among participants.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure integrated patient care and seamless communication across providers.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and providing immediate care as necessary.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and available community resources, helping to empower them in their treatment journey.

• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards by maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York, with requisite continuing education in specialty areas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and proven proficiency in therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
