Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while serving a clientele through an outpatient setting. You will be working during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine the severity and impact of their symptoms, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that reflect their mental health goals and preferences, adjusting these plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' mood disorders and anxiety.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and practical self-care strategies to enhance recovery.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, documenting all sessions meticulously to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards as well as to inform treatment adjustments.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration, working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to the individual needs of each client.

• Stay informed about new developments in the field of mental health treatment to apply the latest research and best practices in mood disorders.

• Attend and contribute to case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies for best practices in treating clients.

• Act as a client advocate, raising awareness about the challenges faced by those with mood disorders and helping to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Emerald Counseling Group Services, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our diverse client population ranges from young adults to seniors, each facing unique challenges that require personalized care and attention. Your expertise will directly contribute to their healing and recovery process, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of California.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• Capable of understanding psychopharmacology and collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Ability to create a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment that fosters client trust and openness.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.
