Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients aiming for improved emotional regulation and stress relief.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ challenges, stressors, and individualized treatment goals.

• Guide clients through personalized mindfulness exercises, teaching meditation techniques, breathing practices, and self-reflective strategies to enhance self-awareness.

• Facilitate interactive group workshops focused on mindfulness applications, stress management, and building resilience within a supportive group setting.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, tailoring approaches to address specific mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness practices into each client's treatment strategy.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, sessions, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults and adolescents facing a plethora of mental health challenges. Clients seeking support often struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, and the impacts of trauma. By utilizing mindfulness strategies, you will help clients reduce their stress levels, improve emotional regulation, and foster resilience in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
