Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and intake interviews to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, and mindfulness practices, to promote mental health and well-being.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, and as needed, group or family therapy sessions, to address a wide range of mental health issues.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes observed in therapy.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care strategies and share insights with fellow professionals.
\n
• Provide referrals to additional services when necessary and coordinate care to ensure continuity of support for patients.

• Stay up to date on best practices and ongoing trends in the field of mental health therapy, engaging in continuous professional education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on working with individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will also engage with children, adolescents, couples, and families, fostering a safe environment conducive to open dialogue and healing. Understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of first responders and their specific stressors will be crucial to successfully support this population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals grappling with mental and behavioral health issues, including co-occurring disorders and substance use challenges.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families, to navigate complex emotional and relationship dynamics.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques, as well as strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $100,000 and $105,000 annually .
