Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through initial consultations, gathering comprehensive information about clients’ histories and current concerns.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups, with a focus on promoting mental wellness.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and fostering a safe environment for open communication.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop cohesive and integrated care plans for clients.

• Manage referrals to additional services as needed, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive support systems.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding mental health challenges and the recovery process, providing resources and strategies for effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your support will be fundamental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, leading to improved wellbeing and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a strong emphasis on empathetic listening.

• Robust interpersonal skills, showcasing a compassionate and client-centered approach to counseling.

Preferred Experience\n

• Several years of experience providing mental health counseling, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with various populations.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate and confidential client documentation.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical guidelines.

• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders, trauma, and substance use issues, along with knowledge of medication management for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
