Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations, assessing and identifying both normal and abnormal dermatological findings.
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement effective pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans catered to individual patient needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on effectiveness and patient feedback.
• Educate patients about their skin conditions and the intricacies of treatment plans to empower them in their health journey.
• Perform dermatological procedures in line with your training and privileges, ensuring all actions meet patient safety standards.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans diligently within our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and management to achieve clinical objectives and improve service delivery.
• Assist patients and families with education and support regarding health maintenance and preventive care strategies.
• Engage with payer performance measures to enhance the financial sustainability of patient care services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work within our dermatology practice will primarily focus on an outpatient population, including children, adults, and seniors experiencing a range of skin conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program is mandatory.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant and current CPR certification is required, alongside a valid, active license in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an interactive clinical care setting as a Physician Assistant.

Compensation and Benefits
