The role of a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mood Care is primarily remote, providing flexibility for our counselors to work from home while maintaining a focus on high-quality client care. We also offer the option of in-office sessions, depending on client needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools and methods to understand each client's unique mental health status and treatment needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to align with clients' objectives and promote their overall emotional well-being.

• Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions for adult clients, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to facilitate transformative change.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Mood Care, you will primarily work with adult clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Our approach recognizes each individual's unique experiences and seeks to empower them on their path to recovery through supportive, individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate meaningful connections with clients and colleagues.

• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to client interactions, creating a safe space for exploration and healing.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a comprehensive caseload with attention to detail.
