Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Provide clinical services to clients, tailoring and implementing person-centered, recovery-based treatment plans.

• Continuously assess and evaluate treatment needs to adapt to each client's evolving situation.

• Assist in the development, monitoring, and execution of individualized service plans that outline goals and interventions.

• Work collaboratively with clients to enhance their coping mechanisms, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills through evidence-based practices.

• Educate clients about available community resources, advocating effectively to ensure they receive the support they need.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and innovations in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary client base includes adults 18 and older who may be experiencing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. Many of our clients face challenges in achieving community stability and independence and benefit significantly from our tailored therapeutic interventions and supportive services.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• A current and valid state license, which may include LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist (PsyD).
\n
• The ability to practice independently without supervision and maintain a clean disciplinary record with no actions against their license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills complemented by a empathetic nature, critical for building trust and rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in technological tools to facilitate remote counseling sessions, alongside a reliable internet connection.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with experience in providing direct clinical services and a demonstrated ability to support clients in developing daily living skills, anger management strategies, and coping techniques will be preferred. Familiarity with community resource systems and the ability to work within a telehealth framework will also enhance your candidacy.
