We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and expand market presence across the Midwest! This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to build strategic partnerships, strengthen key customer relationships, and uncover new business opportunities in a rapidly evolving ingredient market. In this role, you will lead regional sales initiatives, develop strategic account plans, grow existing business, and expand relationships with key accounts, distributors, and emerging market segments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will bring customer insights to the business, connect innovative ingredient solutions with market needs, and play a key role in driving profitable growth.

This is a remote-based opportunity offering the flexibility to work from home while staying connected to customers through regular travel throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies to achieve growth targets
\n
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within assigned markets and accounts
\n
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors, direct customers, and strategic accounts
\n
• Conduct regular customer visits, sales calls, and business reviews to understand needs and present solutions
\n
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts, territory updates, and opportunity tracking
\n
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and customer requirements to inform strategy
\n
• Collaborate with marketing, R&D, operations, quality, and customer service to support product launches and account growth
\n
• Prepare proposals, support pricing discussions, and negotiate commercial terms in alignment with company guidelines
\n
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen market presence
\n
• Maintain CRM records, account plans, and activity reports with timely and accurate information

Required:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred
\n
• A minimum of 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in ingredients or flavors
\n
• Proven experience managing a sales territory and growing customer relationships
\n
• Experience utilizing CRM systems, forecasting, and pipeline management tools
\n
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region
\n

Compensation: Depending on experience, this role may align with an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level:

\n

\n
• Account Manager level (typically under six years of relevant sales experience): $100,000–$145,000 base salary, plus sales incentive program and company car program.
\n
• Senior Account Manager level (typically six or more years of relevant sales experience): $130,000–$170,000 base salary, plus sales incentive program and company car program.
\n

• The compensation ranges listed above reflect the company’s anticipated hiring range at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including relevant experience, qualifications, education, demonstrated skills, geographic location (if applicable), and overall alignment with the responsibilities of the role.
