This position operates in a remote work setting, offering flexibility while maintaining a structured approach to patient care. Your work schedule will align with standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, evaluating their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate on the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and goals.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions and treatment plans based on data and outcomes.
\n
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client health.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging research in the field of mental health, applying new insights to clinical practices.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for destigmatization of mental health issues within the community and promote clients' mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor at Hackensack Health System, you will work with a diverse population of clients, focusing particularly on those dealing with mood disorders. Through the telehealth platform, you will connect with clients from various backgrounds, many of whom may face challenges related to access to mental health services. Your role will be vital in providing support, understanding, and effective treatment strategies to enhance their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• An understanding of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists.
\n
• Demonstrated success in treating clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is encouraged but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
