Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse histories, providing tailored support for their unique needs.

• Facilitate one-on-one and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with other professionals in a multidisciplinary treatment team to create synchronized treatment plans and ensure holistic care.

• Engage and educate clients’ families, fostering their involvement in the recovery process and enhancing the support network for clients.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant records of all therapy sessions in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with pre-screened clients who are stable and present low acuity levels. This enables you to focus deeply on the therapeutic relationship, creating meaningful sessions that facilitate growth and recovery. You will engage with adolescents and young adults, tailoring your approaches to meet their specific developmental needs and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
