Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health conditions and needs.
\n
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and tailored strategies that respect clients’ unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, in one-on-one and group settings.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the client’s well-being.

• Participate in team meetings and continuous training sessions to enhance clinical skills and integrate new therapeutic techniques into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Harmony House, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your expertise will help individuals, couples, and families develop coping strategies and achieve personal growth. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, specifically in a clinical setting, is required.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or recent experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
