Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand clients' needs and determine appropriate interventions.
\n
• Develop individualized therapy plans and implement tailored treatment strategies based on clients' specific goals and circumstances.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions both virtually and within a structured telehealth framework.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and administrative tasks within our secured electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Provide crisis intervention when needed and develop safety plans for clients at risk.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Telehealth LPC at Hillsdale Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse clientele that may include individuals experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. This role requires a compassionate approach to therapy, emphasizing the importance of establishing rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.

• Experience in providing therapy through telehealth platforms and familiarity with EHR systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
