Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of each patient's needs, under the guidance of their physician.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of functional capabilities, including muscle strength, joint mobility, and overall physical condition, to inform the therapy approach.
• Directly administer a variety of treatments such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and the application of modalities based on best practices.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and consulting with physicians and case managers to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home care activities, and the proper use of adaptive equipment designed to enhance independence.
• Supervise and provide instruction to physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to care protocols and promoting professional development.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to align patient care goals and enhance treatment integration.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries, while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing a range of orthopedic conditions, from postoperative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will support individuals of all ages, from pediatric patients recovering from sports injuries to elderly clients seeking to regain mobility after joint replacements. By delivering therapy in a familiar setting, you play a critical role in the recovery journey of each client, emphasizing dignity and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
