Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite at our outpatient facility in Stockton, where you will work alongside a dynamic team of orthopedic specialists. Our office is designed for optimal patient interaction, featuring open therapy areas and private treatment rooms that support both individual care and group therapy sessions. Operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, our schedule allows for the delivery of focused and comprehensive therapy without the pressure of weekend or evening commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to create personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused care and attention to each individual.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to administer hands-on treatment and enhance functional mobility.
• Develop and implement cost-effective treatment strategies aimed at promoting joint motion and improving physical mobility.
• Minimize dependency on pain medications by exploring innovative non-surgical approaches and interventions.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to boost their progress and restore independence.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, documenting progress and adjusting plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to formulate comprehensive care strategies.
• Educate patients on preventative measures, self-care techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to support their overall health enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Strive Physical Therapy, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes athletes looking to optimize their performance post-injury and individuals seeking long-term relief and improved mobility. Each patient's journey is unique, and your role will be crucial in assessing their specific challenges and tailoring interventions accordingly.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current California Physical Therapist license with no disciplinary actions against it.
• Strong manual therapy skills, coupled with a solid foundation in developing effective exercise protocols.
• Competence in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience developing tailored fitness and wellness programs that address individual patient goals and needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
