Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, aiding patients with active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, activities of daily living, prosthetic training, and gait and functional training.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and home exercise programs to foster continued rehabilitation progress.
• Coordinate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care delivery, providing feedback and updates regarding treatment effectiveness and patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes, older adults, and individuals recovering from various physical traumas. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journeys, aiming to restore functionality and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university or its foreign equivalent.
• Current California State licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desired.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
