Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. is seeking a committed and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Stockton, California. As a pivotal member of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will engage with patients to facilitate their recovery, restore mobility, and enhance their overall functional abilities. Your expertise will be integral in designing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs, enabling patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is specifically designed for sports medicine, ensuring we have the latest technologies and resources to aid patient recovery. We primarily serve clients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on quality care without the constraints often associated with larger healthcare systems.

Work Environment

This full-time role is conducted on-site at our rehabilitation center where teamwork and patient-centered care are at the forefront of our practice. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our facility encourages open communication and continuous learning to foster an environment where both staff and patients can thrive. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload with a focus on delivering one-on-one treatment sessions, typically handling one patient per hour.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans that employ various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective and cost-efficient physical therapies aimed at enhancing range of motion and mobility.
• Adopt a multidisciplinary approach through consultations with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their recovery, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on their changing needs.
• Provide education on injury prevention and wellness to empower patients in their health management.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with patients regarding their treatment journey and expected outcomes.

Our comprehensive treatment plans aim to reduce reliance on medications and avoid surgical interventions whenever feasible.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrate an impeccable professional record, with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exhibit proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based interventions.
• Have strong capabilities in designing and implementing individualized exercise protocols for diverse patient demographics.
• Show case familiarity with electronic medical records, especially with WebPT software.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working within orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills that allow you to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Background in developing fitness and rehabilitation programs suited for varying levels of patient capability.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
