Flexi-motion Rehab and Wellness Center is a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility specializing in outpatient orthopedic services. Our 5000 square feet sports medicine center highlights our commitment to delivering exceptional care tailored to individual patient needs. As a part of our team, you will collaborate with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services predominantly to clients with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

The position is set in a friendly and dynamic onsite rehabilitation center in Stockton, California. Our facility boasts modern equipment and an engaging atmosphere conducive to patient healing and recovery. Regular Monday to Friday hours from 9 AM to 5 PM allow for a balanced work-life alignment while ensuring ample time for patient engagement and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique objectives and requirements of each patient in a rehabilitation setting.
• Manage a patient load efficiently, typically seeing one patient every hour, to deliver focused and individualized care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to the diverse needs of patients.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities and wellness programs aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and overall well-being.
• Educate patients on exercises and therapeutic techniques that promote long-term recovery and health preservation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary while maintaining clear communication with both patients and their families.
• Document all treatments and patient interactions meticulously to ensure a clear record of progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to optimize the overall patient care continuum.
• Encourage patients through motivational strategies to foster a commitment to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• No record of board actions or licensure disciplinary measures.
• Ability to demonstrate proficient manual therapy techniques and clinical decision-making.
• Skilled in designing and implementing tailored exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Physical Therapy Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is required to foster an environment of expertise.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
