Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our Stockton facility, where you will work within a dynamic team consisting of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured workday that fosters team collaboration and patient engagement while maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient objectives, establish treatment goals, and tailor individualized care plans based on their specific needs.
• Manage a patient load effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring comprehensive focus on each individual's treatment and progress.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress accurately within our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Monitor patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on their response to therapy.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, promoting compliance with exercise regimens and home programs.
• Communicate consistently with other healthcare professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, pain management, and strategies for maintaining health and wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse patient demographic, allowing you to employ your therapeutic skills and adapt treatment approaches to various individual needs, thereby ensuring each patient achieves their maximum potential.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Valid and clean physical therapist license in California with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated competency in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist within an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in delivering evidence-based interventions that lead to measurable patient improvements.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
