Work Environment

The work setting at our rehabilitation facility is dynamic and collaborative, where you will work alongside a close-knit team of two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). The job is full-time, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, understanding their unique requirements and designing tailored therapy programs to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a case load of one patient per hour effectively, allowing for in-depth interaction and treatment planning.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities to enhance patient mobility, strength, flexibility, and overall functional ability.
• Develop and execute comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to encourage successful patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on real-time feedback and assessment results.
• Document patient interactions diligently, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and legal requirements, while maintaining accurate records within our EMR system, such as WebPT.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize total patient care and treatment results.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their therapy sessions, promoting an active lifestyle and mental well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility mainly caters to patients with private medical insurance, providing care to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from young athletes aiming to return to peak performance to older adults seeking to regain independence in their daily activities. Each patient's care plan is crafted to meet their specific circumstances, ensuring a tailored approach that respects their individuality and goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to your physical therapy license.
• Strong foundational knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their application in clinical practice.
• Ability to create and supervise exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT or similar.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based interventions and staying updated with the latest developments in physical therapy.
• Demonstrated success in fostering patient relationships and motivating individuals during their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
