Work Environment

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will predominantly operate in a home care setting, providing a personalized and comfortable therapy experience for our clients. You will work closely with patients and their families in Lodi and surrounding areas, adapting treatments to the unique environments of each client. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions such as strength training, manual therapy, and postural training to foster recovery.
• Guide patients through functional activities, including bed mobility, transfers, gait training, and balance exercises, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and modalities, adjusting techniques to optimize treatment outcomes while maintaining thorough documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them on the rehabilitation process, self-management strategies, and at-home exercises.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and a unified approach to patient recovery.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff or students as needed, promoting a culture of learning within the organization.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• A valid California Physical Therapist license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required.

Compensation and Benefits
