Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Stockton, California, where we emphasize a supportive and innovative atmosphere. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), relying on a collaborative approach to maximize patient care. Our clinic primarily serves individuals with private medical insurance, delivering tailored services that foster recovery and encourage proactive health management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and objectives of each patient in a healthcare setting.
• Handle a caseload efficiently, averaging one patient per hour, while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.
• Devise and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating a variety of techniques to enhance patient outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to motivate patients, helping them regain their functional abilities and promoting autonomy.
• Effectively communicate with patients, providing progress updates and setting achievable goals throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of treatment interventions and patient responses using electronic medical record (EMR) platforms like WebPT.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle for patients through customized fitness and wellness programs that foster strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary clientele includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions that affect their mobility and daily function. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire patients throughout their treatment process.
• Organizational skills to maintain a structured and efficient workflow, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions or board actions against licensure.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is beneficial.
• Experience in developing and conducting exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, complemented with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
