Bonneville Peak Rehab and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated full-time Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Stockton, California. This role is pivotal in helping patients regain their mobility and independence. You will work closely with a diverse population, designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote healing, alleviate pain, and improve physical performance.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility provides a welcoming and innovative atmosphere where collaboration and patient-centric care are highly valued. With onsite operations Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, our team works cohesively to ensure streamlined patient experiences and optimal care delivery. You will have access to the latest therapeutic technologies and rehabilitation tools, allowing you to deliver effective treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify functional limitations and establish effective therapy goals.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and personalized attention.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and exercises, tailoring programs to enhance clients' mobility and daily function.
• Document all treatment plans, interventions, and patient progress using EMR software such as WebPT, ensuring comprehensive patient records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize the overall management of patient care.
• Educate and motivate patients and their families on exercises, wellness strategies, and lifestyle modifications that can aid recovery.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system, promoting access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve predominantly consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. This population benefits from specialized treatments that facilitate pain management, improved mobility, and rehabilitation following sports-related injuries or traumatic accidents. Establishing trust and rapport with each patient is essential, as our approach emphasizes patient engagement and motivation throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist with a clean record, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and a commitment to maintaining accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably within outpatient orthopedic practice.
• Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Proven track record in improving patient functional abilities and sports performance through hands-on therapy and conditioning programs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
