Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technology in sports medicine, providing an optimal setting for both therapists and patients. We focus primarily on clients with private medical insurance, ensuring they receive personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific recovery needs.

Work Environment

Your professional setting will be an onsite rehabilitation facility featuring modern treatment areas designed to enhance patient interactions and therapeutic effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with a small but highly skilled team, consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering a collegial atmosphere where knowledge sharing and best practices thrive. The facility operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and establish effective treatment goals.
• Manage and treat a caseload of patients, ensuring efficient service delivery at a rate of one patient per hour.
• Implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies as part of ongoing assessments and maintaining detailed documentation throughout.
• Promote patient education on injury prevention, healthy living, and lifestyle modifications to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Engage and motivate patients during their therapy sessions to ensure commitment towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring continuity and effectiveness of treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population primarily consists of individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation services. Your role will involve working with a diverse group, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to active adults seeking to improve their physical capabilities. You will be pivotal in delivering care that minimizes the need for medication and invasive procedures, focusing instead on rehabilitation and physical recovery through tailored treatment approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your license.
• Proven competencies in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) platforms, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist specializing in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated ability to implement successful treatment interventions leading to positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
