Located in Stockton, California, our advanced rehabilitation facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology. Our team consists of highly-trained professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, ensuring a focus on high-quality outcomes.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Stockton, California. The work setting is collaborative and supportive, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. You will join a close-knit team comprising two experienced Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all focused on delivering the best possible care to our patients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while meeting the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual objectives and requirements of each patient, developing personalized treatment plans to meet these goals.
• Manage a patient load of one-on-one sessions, providing comprehensive care and attention to each individual throughout their treatment journey.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions that effectively enhance clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Advocate for non-surgical solutions, limiting reliance on pharmaceuticals by promoting alternative therapies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design treatment plans employing various therapeutic methods tailored to each patient's specific needs.
• Inspire and motivate patients to engage fully in their treatment process, helping them to optimize functionality and achieve personal health goals.
• Promote healthy lifestyle adjustments, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination for our clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Monitor progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and maintain clear communication with patients and their support systems.
• Document all services provided accurately and in compliance with organizational policies and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic outpatient clients, particularly those recovering from injuries and surgeries related to sports, work-related incidents, or other orthopedic conditions. We serve a diverse patient base, each with unique needs, requiring custom tailored rehabilitation programs that help them regain their desired level of function and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active California Physical Therapist license without prior board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and an ability to adapt these methods as required based on patient feedback and outcomes.
• Capable of developing and implementing individualized exercise programs that align with best practice standards.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient records management and ensure accurate documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist specifically in an orthopedic outpatient setting, providing you with a strong foundation for managing similar cases in our practice.
• Hands-on experience working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, fostering a team-oriented approach toward patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise.
