Position Overview

TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a passionate and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Stockton, California. This role is crucial for guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, helping them restore movement and achieve their highest functional potential. As a Physical Therapist, you will actively participate in assessing, designing, and implementing personalized treatment programs for patients with a focus on orthopedic care.

Located in the heart of Stockton, TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a PT-owned rehabilitation practice dedicated to serving individuals with private medical insurance. Our state-of-the-art facility spans over 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology designed to support our patients' diverse rehabilitation needs. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative environment, working closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care.

Work Environment

The work setting is primarily onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, where we maintain an atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and high-quality patient interaction. Our schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and identify their rehabilitation goals, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their specific needs.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, providing dedicated one-on-one therapy sessions aimed at restoring mobility and enhancing quality of life.
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies to improve clients' range of motion, balance, and overall physical performance.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, focusing on reducing dependency on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in a thorough and timely manner, utilizing our EMR software, WebPT.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure holistic patient care and optimal recovery pathways.
• Engage and motivate patients throughout their care journey, helping them set achievable goals and celebrating milestones to enhance their commitment to rehabilitation.
• Continuously evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust care plans based on patient response and clinical evidence.
• Encourage lifestyle modifications, promoting wellness through education on exercise, nutrition, and healthy habits.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgeries or accidents. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping these patients regain functionality, improve their quality of life, and implement preventive strategies to avoid future injuries.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A strong professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Experience in coordinating and executing individualized exercise protocols tailored to patient capabilities.
• Strong familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to maintain accurate and efficient records.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Personal commitment to continuing education and professional development in physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, continuing education support, and retirement plan contributions.
