Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of each patient's physical capabilities by utilizing various diagnostic tools and techniques, including range of motion tests and strength assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient, in accordance with physician recommendations.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as heat, light, water, sound, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Guide patients and their families in understanding treatment goals, self-care strategies, and home exercise programs, ensuring they are equipped for success beyond clinic visits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, serving as a subject-matter expert on physical therapy practices, treatment programs, and adaptive equipment, enriching the care provided to patients.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants and rehabilitative support personnel, ensuring comprehensive and effective patient treatment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid State of California licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions against the licensure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise regimen creation, and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient clinic setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient progress and therapy interventions effectively.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in educating patients and fostering compliance with rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits
