Our 5,000-square-foot sports medicine center is equipped with advanced technology and treatment modalities designed to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation. Our team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, all committed to a patient-centered approach that emphasizes collaboration and comprehensive care.

Work Environment

The work setting at Bon Secours is primarily onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility. You will work closely with fellow therapists and support staff in a collaborative environment, where teamwork is essential to enhancing patient outcomes. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing dedicated care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify their specific goals and rehabilitation requirements.
• Manage a streamlined caseload, treating one patient per hour to ensure focused and individualized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective treatment methods that enhance clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic interventions and exercise protocols.
• Incorporate manual therapy techniques and specialized modalities to optimize patient recovery.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation processes, encouraging self-efficacy and adherence to treatment regimens.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient care services and outcomes, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility focuses on orthopedic outpatient therapy, serving a diverse client base seeking recovery from various musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. The majority of our patients are individuals with private medical insurance, enabling us to offer customized treatment plans that cater specifically to their recovery needs.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Maintain a clean professional record, free of any board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Exhibit strong proficiency in manual therapy and physical rehabilitation techniques.
• Demonstrate exceptional capability in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Be proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, with particular experience in WebPT preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting is highly desirable.
• A background in sports rehabilitation or injury prevention techniques will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
