Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a fully remote work setting, enabling flexibility while you engage with clients and colleagues. Although primarily remote, you will coordinate closely with our outpatient clinical team, engaging regularly in virtual meetings to ensure seamless care and treatment planning. Our structured schedule requires availability Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed depending on patient demands.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual developmental stages, family history, and specific mental health diagnoses.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a broad spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources that may support their journey toward recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultation sessions, and professional development workshops to stay current with advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents who present a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral issues. By fostering meaningful relationships and trust with your young clients and their families, you will directly contribute to their long-term mental health outcomes and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with prior experience in child and adolescent therapy, crisis intervention, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams will be given preference. Familiarity with community resources and local mental health programs in the Reno area is a plus, as it enhances our ability to provide comprehensive support to our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
