Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a pivotal contract role serving PreK–5th grade students across four elementary schools. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to collaborate alongside another School Psychologist, each supporting two school sites and engaging with a diverse student population. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, to May 24, 2027, aligning perfectly with the academic calendar.

Responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing and monitoring student interventions, leading IEP teams, and collaborating closely with educators and families. Your expertise will support student growth, social-emotional learning, and positive behavioral outcomes in both individual and group settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois with School Psychologist endorsement is required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students (PreK–5th grade)
• Strong ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, staff, and families
• Knowledge of special education laws, assessment practices, and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to travel between two assigned school sites in a timely manner
• Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive school environments

Primary Duties:

• Complete evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting results for IEP purposes
• Offer direct support via counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis response when needed
• Provide consultative services to teachers and administrators on student needs
• Assist with program planning, MTSS, and implementing 504/IEP plans as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate records and uphold strict confidentiality standards
