Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to gather essential information, documenting progress from the initial consultation through to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using standardized assessment tools and clinical judgment to create comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Develop tailored intervention strategies for various client groups, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing techniques grounded in best practices within the mental health field.
\n
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, adapting your approach based on clients' specific needs and feedback.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress systematically throughout the course of treatment, adjusting plans when necessary to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to develop integrated intervention plans that consider all aspects of a client’s health.

• Conduct follow-ups with medical professionals regarding any clients who are admitted to hospitals for safety and co-management of care.
\n
• Identify any behaviors that may impede clients’ recovery and develop strategies to mitigate these factors.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges, providing educational resources and coping strategies.

The clients we serve encompass a broad spectrum of backgrounds and challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and the effects of stress and burnout. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• A successful pass of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience as a mental health counselor.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to manage client notes and treatment documentation efficiently.
\n
• Understanding of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders is desirable, as is familiarity with the best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by exceptional interpersonal abilities and a sympathetic nature.

Compensation and Benefits\n
