The work environment at Regain Strength is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility in how you deliver care. Counselors will conduct sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring convenient access to services for clients. With a focus on outpatient care, you will also collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document client histories from the initial consultation through to treatment completion.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for individual clients, couples, and families, ensuring alignment with their specific challenges and goals.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and interventions to guide discussions and foster healing.
\n
• Monitor and assess clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys, making adjustments to plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with the larger healthcare team, sharing insights and strategies that enhance therapeutic efforts and improve client care.
\n
• Follow up with psychiatrists regarding clients who may require hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care and support during transitions.
\n
• Identify and address behaviors that impact recovery, providing strategies to clients and support for their families in managing these challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals of all ages experiencing a range of mental health concerns, from anxiety and depression to more complex emotional and behavioral issues. Our client-centric approach prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships, allowing counselors to understand and address the unique factors affecting each individual’s mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselors Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Skilled in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly with experience in AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for developing rapport with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, providing support and leadership as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Proficiency in addressing co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, including addiction and trauma.
\n
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
\n
• Knowledge of the interaction between prescribed medications and mental health treatment.
\n
• Experience with group therapy techniques and family counseling methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
