Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify individual patient needs.

• Create detailed, personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices to address various mental health conditions.

• Implement therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy during individual and group sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that promote community understanding, healing, and connection among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to facilitate integrated care pathways for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including case consultations and team meetings, to stay current with industry advancements.

Qualifications\n

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and an array of evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism and ethical boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with computer applications to document and track patient progress efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy and counseling services to diverse populations, with a background in both individual and group settings preferred. Those with experience in telehealth modalities will be given additional consideration.

Compensation and Benefits\n
