This full-time position focuses on delivering specialized outpatient therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Work Environment\n

This position offers a convenient remote work setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a professional outpatient office environment. You will predominantly work Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, family dynamics, and developmental considerations.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing techniques grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other modalities appropriate for children and adolescents.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at fostering a supportive home environment for young clients.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, school personnel, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach towards the mental health care of our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving young individuals.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to support their journey.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be children and adolescents struggling with a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Our team seeks to create individualized care strategies that involve family systems and nurture the overall development of our clients. Your role will ensure that children receive not only the therapeutic support they need but also the understanding and attention crucial for their growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• Solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment challenges, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Experience providing individual and family therapy to a young clientele is required.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents.

• Ability to effectively engage children and their families and establish trustful relationships.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• A person who works well in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting treating children and adolescents.

• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and community mental health resources.
\n
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., play therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, etc.) will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
