Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments: You will assess clients' emotional, social, and psychological needs, developing individualized treatment plans that are culturally responsive and tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions: Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, you will employ evidence-based practices to guide clients through their healing journeys.

• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation: Adhering to all ethical and legal standards, you will document sessions and create progress notes that reflect client interactions accurately.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning: Actively participate in clinical consultations and supervision, contributing to case discussions and learning opportunities that enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on hospice clients, many of whom face dual challenges of complex emotional and physical health issues at end-of-life stages. Providing support to clients from marginalized backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, will be critical in ensuring equitable access to mental health resources and interventions. Your approach will be trauma-informed, sensitive to the unique experiences of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) status.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience.

• Proficient clinical skills in diagnostic formulation and culturally competent practice.

• Expertise in trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders to foster collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with EMR systems and telehealth technologies, particularly platforms such as SimplePractice and Zoom.

• Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with diverse populations, including refugees and low-income individuals.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
