Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to guide the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique identities and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions in individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address various mental health challenges.

• Engage in crisis interventions, offering immediate support to clients facing mental health emergencies, while employing your crisis management skills to foster stability and safety.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring an integrated approach to patient care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.

• Maintain up-to-date and precise documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to organizational policies.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance your skillset and contribute to team learning.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and cultural considerations within the realm of mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on serving a diverse patient population, including individuals from historically marginalized communities, individuals struggling with mental health conditions, and those in crisis. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensed as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois, with a valid and current license.

• A deep understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and the integration of cultural competence into therapeutic practice is essential.

• Experience in providing therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings, utilizing culturally responsive approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
